Inspiration Board: Metropolitan at the 9

The Metropolitan at the 9, one of Cleveland's newer downtown hotels, is the perfect setting for a wedding that's all about glamour. Built in 1906, the historic building was originally the Cleveland Trust Company, where the wealthiest elites in Cleveland housed their fortunes -- and the bank vaults are still there, providing fun decor and photo opportunities. The original ornate architecture has been complemented with contemporary furnishings, modern finishes and a plethora of rich metallics to up the glam factor. From the ballroom to cocktail hour, there are several unique locations for events within the hotel.

Pronovias's "Plisa" would be the perfect gown for a glamorous wedding at The 9. With her gorgeous low back, pretty lace and mermaid silhouette, she's a modern classic oozing with sophisticated glamour. For decor, we'd do a modern take on art deco with classic black and gold invitations, macaron cakes, and a really cool vintage cocktail bar.
