Real Wedding: Megan & Dan's Romantic Wedding at The Country Club in Pepper Pike, Ohio

They're called classics for a reason. With the perfect ballgown, gorgeous flowers and an elegant venue, this classic wedding will never go out of style. We love all the timeless details and personal touches that make this wedding so romantic and stunning.

From the bride, Megan:

Dan and I really wanted our wedding to have a romantic feel, with soft pastels and greenery, and a touch of elegance. The Country Club was perfect -- the venue itself had the elegant feel we wanted, the amazing green nature backdrop of the golf course, and with the help of Bronwen from Twig Florals, we achieved the romantic vision with tons of lush florals. My mom worked countless hours on our seating chart and place cards, and my bridesmaid Amy handmade all of our signage for the day. It was those personal details that really meant the world to me. At the end of the day, we wanted our wedding to be filled with great food, family & friends, love, and a band that kept people dancing all night! After a year and a half of planning, all those meetings, last minute details and decisions, we walked into our reception and were left completely speechless.

The moments leading up to the ceremony were my favorite. There’s something about those last few moments before you say I do that are really sentimental, exciting, and emotional. Dan and I had our first look under an ivy covered archway that I had been dreaming about since we chose the venue. I had not, however, dreamt it would be raining/hailing/windy/and 55 degrees on our May wedding day (there was snow on the ground the next day!!), but it all works out! Finally, I loved saying our vows. I had laughed every time at our rehearsal, but when the moment finally came, in front of all of loved ones, I was so emotional!
