We love it when couples incorporate their hobbies and passions into their wedding decor. There's no better way to make a wedding that's personal, unique and special. So, when you love golf, you get maried at a golf course ... and have a golf-themed cake! This real wedding is full of really sweet personal details, from a love of golf to a cameo by some adorable furry friends.
From the bride, Shannon:
My planning inspiration fell on a few items. My husband, or fiance at the time, is an avid golfer. He golfed in high school, college and continues to do so in a league right now. So when we decided to do September at Shaker Country Club, I thought it was only natural to create a golf theme on the golf course! This led to the inspiration of my groom's cake, place cards, and some of the various decor for the flowers. I also always imagined getting married in the spring, so I incorporated a lot of spring colors combined with fall elements to highlight our big day! I thought everything turned out absolutely amazing, and we were both so completely overjoyed by the whole event!
