Lake Forest Country Club in Hudson, Ohio, is a stunning wedding venue both indoors and out. The exterior features classic English Tudor architecture, with beautiful manicured gardens that are the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding. Inside there are multiple spaces available which can accommodate 50-300 guests, from a large banquet hall with windows overlooking the lake to the smaller dining room with its elegant wood-paneled walls and stunning candelabras.
For a wedding at Lake Forest Country Club, we love the idea of an elegant, super romantic wedding with a bit of drama. We would choose the Anita skirt and Anais bodice from Watters, both available at Something White. The Anita skirt brings the drama with layers of silk taffeta and matte organza and a chapel train, while the Anais bodice is all about romance with antique ivory lace, delicate cap sleeves and gorgeous pearl buttons down the back. These separates are a classic silhouette with a modern edge. We'd decorate the reception with lace table runners that reflect the gown and a classic, dramatic color palette of burgundy, ivory and gold.
