Real Wedding: Lindsay & Ben in Michigan

At Something White, we have brides who come from all over the midwest (and beyond!) to find their perfect gown, and while we love to showcase the amazing vendors that we have right here in Northeast Ohio, we also just really love to be able to show off some of our beautiful, not-so-local brides, as well. Our bride Lindsay visited the shop from Metro Detroit and chose the lovely Watters gown "Rada." We love how she paired mint and gold accents to make her day special, and it turned out to be such a gorgeous wedding!

From the bride, Lindsay:

We were originally going to go with a "theme" but then decided that was too much work, haha. Instead, we went with a color that would be highly visible throughout the reception. Our venue has beautiful white pillars and gold chandeliers, and with my bridesmaids' mint dresses, I thought that a gold accent would be perfect. So we made sure to incorporate lots of gold and glitter, and I think it turned out perfectly! For us, it was a lot easier and a lot less stressful than trying to make sure everything matched a certain theme.

Everything about our wedding day was better than I imagined it would be. It was relaxing, fun, emotional, and full of love. I'm a teacher and a few of my students and their families came to the ceremony which was so special to us. There is nothing that can compare to the feeling of marrying your best friend and the person of your dreams. It was just an amazing day!
